Launched in 2013, Access Protocol (AP) is a new non-commercial, open protocol devised by Foundation of Computer Science that provides its associated journals including Communications on Applied Electronics with the necessary tools to streamline its copyrighted data to appropriate indexes in an automated environment. Put simply, the Access Protocol helps the FCS journals to focus more on the content rather than the trivialities involved in the pre-defined publication framework.
AP will help maximise the potential of the editorial and review networks of FCS and its journals. The peers being purely engaged only in content review, the technical output in terms of novel research articles increases manyfold.
Foundation of Computer Science is committed to release the standard globally on a non-commercial basis by end of 2024 We are thankful to all the researchers who have collaborated with the core team while validating the protocol.
